Have you ever heard the expression, “God’s waiting room “?  It refers to warm states where people to go retire like Arizona or Florida.  Well, an interesting off-shoot of that is that these places are where RICH people go to retire.  And as a result, their retirement homes are gorgeous:  gorgeous architecture, gorgeous grounds and all the amenities.  The result is the most beautiful landscape of villas in Florida that you’ve ever seen!

Now, how does this benefit me?  Well, these folks long for their children and grandchildren.  They leave to see them, or take extended vacations elsewhere.  Or else get sick and/or die and now there’s a beautiful house sitting there empty.  So how do families hang onto the property and make the payments?  Renting out that beautiful Florida villa!  So now I can rent one by the week, or longer or shorter, and avoid rooms with a Mouse motif altogether!  I’m close to oceans or golf courses-you name it!  Sure, the neighbors might be beyond my years, but if I want some wildness, I just go visit South Beach.  Heck, I bet that there are Florida villas near there, too, or even by the World, if you want that. 

No matter what, it’s a beautiful place to visit.  I think they even have a couple of those new-fangled planned communities that are based on the old-fashioned small-town model-Harmony, or something like that.  So if the term, “God’s waiting room” keeps some folks away so I can have more of the place to myself, I’m down with that!
