You enjoy golfing. You’re good at it. At one point in time, you even thought that you might have a pro golf career in your future. But as time has gone on, you realize that in spite of your passion, you’re probably not going to make a full-time career out of playing professional golf. That’s a disappointing realization to come to but it doesn’t have to mean the end of your love for the green. There are other job options out there which will let you do what you love.

One golf career choice that many people in this position make is the decision to get a job teaching golf. There are many different levels at which you can be a golf instructor, so this option allows you the freedom to choose what kind of career you really want. Perhaps you’ve realized that you love golf but love other things as well and only want to teach golf to youngsters on the weekends. Or perhaps you want to come as close to a pro golf career as possible by teaching adults at an advanced level.

There are only a lucky few people who can get to work professionally as golfers. However, the golf industry is a huge industry. You shouldn’t feel like a failure in any way simply because you didn’t make it to the elite level. Instead, you should take advantage of the growing industry to enjoy a golf career doing something that you really get pleasure from doing.
