Second Hand Halloween

As the owner of a second hand clothing store, I usually have a great selection of Halloween costumes available and that tends to make October one of the busiest months of the year in my store. It is quite often the first place that people look when they want to find good quality kids Halloween costumes.
One of the biggest sellers of all of the costumes that I carry are the ones that have been handmade. They tend to be a much higher quality than the prefabricated and mass produced costumes that are available in department stores. It is also one of the best places to find toddler Halloween costumes, as I have a section that specializes in children.
This past spring, the high school drama club put on an amazing production of the Wizard of Oz and I scrambled to try and help the costume coordinator put together several Wizard of Oz costumes. We worked hard, but in the end, the costumes were fantastic, as was the performance of the hard working students.
When I first opened my second hand store, I was concerned that it would not do as well as I needed it to, but it has since become a fixture in the town and it has given me the opportunity to meet many people.
