I am about to get back in the dating game after a bad breakup. I’ve been thinking a lot about what I want from a new relationship. It turns out that I want a lot.

·     I want a man who will make me laugh even when he doesn’t feel all that happy.

·     I want a man who will daydream with me about fun things like opening our own Fiji resort someday.

·     I want a man who is interested in living a green/organic lifestyle.

·     I want a man who can take care of himself but who doesn’t feel the need to always take care of me.

·     I want a man who isn’t afraid to admit when he’s afraid.

·     I want a man who doesn’t take life too seriously but does have goals and dreams.

·     I want a man who loves to travel and wants to take me with him.

·     I want a man who reads a lot of different types of books.

·     I want a man who has different interests from me so we can learn from each other.

·     I want a man who loves to celebrate what we do have in common.

And those are just a few of the things that I want! The funny thing is that I have very little doubt that I’ll find what I’m looking for someday.
