When I was younger we lived in quite the rural area.  It was only going to stay small and quiet for a while though, neighborhoods were popping up all over my small area.  We had a lot of cats that liked to visit and so for a while I went to the store and bough discount pet supplies.  I mainly bought discount cat supplies like food so that the little kitties would not go hungry.  That turned out to be a mistake.  The cats started coming more frequently and there were more than the one or two that I had started to feed. 

One cat was a boy cat or a tom cat.  Though this tom cat was just a kitten, he was learning to mark his territory which something that you do not want to have from any area.  So my next course of action was to get humane live animal traps for the problem that I had created.  I put out the traps and I was able to cut down the cat population and make sure that they were able to find good homes.  Cats are great to have around because they do take care of rodent problems out in a rural area, but they can quickly start taking over your home.
