I think as I get older, I want to make sure that everything I do has meaning and is a reflection on who I am and what I believe in.  For this reason, I’ve been looking more and more at other people’s religious tattoos.  I think it’s a great way to let people know what your beliefs are without being obnoxious or in thier faces.  I think tattoos can almost be a unifying or bonding type of artwork.  I say this because as anyone with a tattoo knows, people will ask you about the meaning of your tattoo and it typically results in a pretty engaging conversation.  So sun tattoos or whatever might get people asking about zodiac signs or whatever, which could lead to a pretty interesting converstation don’t you think?  Artwork should have meaning, and tattoos are artwork, so therefore it should have meaning.  My tattoo will definitely have some kind of meaning when I get one.
