I love my slightly eccentric, wacky next door neighbor.  She has a house full of wonderful animals.  Cats, dogs, bunnies, and hamsters rule the roost at her house.  Each Halloween she goes full out with her decorations and always hands out the best candy in the neighborhood.  But she also makes sure that all of her pets are included in her Halloween.

Each year she decks out all her animals in pet costumes that make her house a definite favorite spot on October 31^st.  For her cats she usually sticks to pretty simple outfits such as a fancier collar or maybe a funny head band.  The head bands usually don’t stay on very long and she usually ends up putting them on the cats over and over.  But she tends to go all out for her dog costumes.  Her dogs have dressed up as Superman, Spongebob Squarepants and Princes Leia from Star Wars.  It’s always a treat to see what costumes her pets will be wearing.

She herself will dress up and she matches her costume to that of one of the dogs.  She has a whole collection of masks that she can choose from.  Last year she had one of her dogs dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz while she had on a lion mask.  It was really something to see.
