My best friend is perhaps the craftiest person I know, and I mean that in a good way!  She is constantly coming up with cool and unique crafting projects for us to do.  I’m not much of a crafter myself, so she usually tries to pick fairly easy projects for us to do together.  So it made perfect sense when she was getting married that she wanted to do as much as she could on her own.

She picked out DIY wedding invitations on line and decided to spice them up a bit on her own.  By using a cool font for the wording and a gorgeous print of her favorite flower she was able to design gorgeous tiger lily wedding invitations.   They were very easy to do, and turned out exactly as she had pictured them. 

For her party favors she purchased some wood picture frames and painted them orange, to match her wedding color.  She then took the tiger lily picture from her wedding invitations and used that as a beautiful picture with their names and the wedding date.  Everything worked together perfectly and because she’s so handy it really helped keep the cost of the wedding down.
