Online Travel Agent

Canada vacation

Traditionally, a travel agent had an office, complete with guidebooks and brochures, where you went to book a vacation.  With the business world becoming more and more virtual, though, there’s no reason why you can’t do the same job online.

For instance, if you want to go into business as an online travel agent, your website could take the place of your office, with information on vacation packages for customers to browse through.  For instance, under your Canada section, you could have a page on a Lake Louise vacation package, a separate page for a Rocky Mountaineer vacation package, and another for a Banff ski vacation package.  Each page would of course be colorful and asthetically pleasing, with pictures and text just like in a brochure — except that online you have the advantage of linking to other pages or local sites for additional information.

Be sure to make your contact information prominent, so that they can call or email you if necessary.  You might also want to make an online order form — most people don’t like having to call and give payment information over the phone, but they will readily enter that information into a secure web form.
