Hoping That Maintaining Shuffleboard is a Breeze

I’m not that familiar with shuffleboard maintenance. I’ve been doing some research on buying a table ever since I was at a party and found out how much fun the game can be. Is the maintenance a pain?
Who out there has had one that was used by a lot of teens and then also transported to different places to be played by other people, too? Is this hard on the shuffleboard table? I don’t want to invest a lot of money into something like this unless it is durable enough to hold up to teens.
I know shuffleboard is played a lot in senior centers and even community rec centers. I just don’t think those would come under the same abuse, primarily because they aren’t moved around. Am I wrong about that?
The game seems like it could be a lot of fun in addition to ping pong and pool at various teen events. I’ll do anything to get them out from in front of the video games. My ping pong table takes a beating when we move it, but no one seems to care-it doesn’t seem to interfere with the game. I’m hoping that getting a shuffleboard table will have the same results.
