Medical Billing & Coding Specialist Certificate at SBI

The Sanford-Brown Institute prepares students for a variety of entry-level careers in the healthcare field, whether they wish to become employed in a hospital, clinic, or medical office.
With curriculum that includes a medical billing and coding class, health record administration, healthcare computer applications and more, SBI also concludes certain programs with clinical externships in medical facilities, for graduates to get the hands-on experience employers look for. Graduates of the Medical Billing and Coding Specialist program at SBI in White Plains are encouraged to take American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) certification examinations to expand the employment opportunities available to them.
SBI offers daytime, evening and online classes for students interested in pursuing post-secondary education at their own pace and location.
