Rewiring the Lights After a Fire

One of the things that no one wants to have to go through in their lives is a fire. Unfortunately for us, our business went up in flames just three short weeks ago, and though the sprinklers and fire suppression system was able to stop the fire from consuming the building, the resulting water damage is something that we have had to deal with.
We were hoping that the insurance company would just demolish the old building and build a new one, but according to them, it was cheaper just to fix our water damaged one. So, we have had work crews working to fix the building day and night so that we have some hopes of reopening in the next week or two.
Tonight they have been working on replacing the Fulham Ballast so that they can rewire the replacement lighting. We were able to get a good deal on fluorescent light bulbs to go with the new lights, so at least that was something positive.
Needless to say, I don’t with this type of calamity on anyone – it has been nothing but stress and a whole lot of work. Sometimes I wonder if we should have ever started the business in the first place.
