Choosing a Domain Name for your eBusiness

You’re ready to start making money with an online business. You’ve decided what you’re going to sell. You’ve checked out the market to make sure that your eBusiness is a viable one. You’ve even done some business planning and budgeting to help ensure financial success. Now you need to set up your website. You know that you’re going to need everything from ecommerce software to a great storefront shopping cart to make this website work. But you’re stuck. You have no idea what domain name to select for the website.

Choosing a domain name for your eBusiness is difficult. You want it to be catchy and informative, easy to remember and unique. It can’t be a name that’s already being used by another site because buying those off of people can be pricey. So you have to sit down and do some brainstorming. Make a list of everything related to your eBusiness. For example, if you’re selling vintage clothing, come up with a list that starts with “vintage”, “retro”, “clothing”, “clothes”, and “apparel” and continue until you can think of no more. Combine these words together to make catchy phrases. One of these will end up being your domain name. Now you’re ready to start working!
